Holi at Tufts

Hey there! So, let me tell you about this amazing Holi celebration we had at Tufts. You know how it is back home, right? The colors, the music, the food—it's just something else. Well, we tried to bring a bit of that magic here, and I think we nailed it!
The whole thing started with the Indian Students Association getting together to plan the event. We wanted to make sure it felt just like home, so we had everything from dhols to delicious samosas and jalebis. The moment I stepped onto the quad, it was like being transported back to India. The air was filled with laughter and the sound of people shouting 'Holi hai!'
I remember getting hit with a burst of color as soon as I joined the crowd. It was awesome seeing everyone, even those who had never celebrated Holi before, getting into the spirit. We were all covered in colors, dancing and just having a blast. It was like all the stress of studies just melted away.
And the performances, oh man, they were something else! We had traditional dances, and even a fusion performance that mixed classical Indian dance with modern moves. It was so cool to see everyone appreciating our culture.
By the end of the day, we were all exhausted but so happy. We took a bunch of group photos, and I swear, I've never seen so many colorful faces in one place. It was a day to remember, for sure.
So yeah, Holi at Tufts was a. It was a little piece of home right here on campus, and I can't wait to do it all over again next year!
